It's summer! After months of cold and dull weather for many of us - not some of you lucky ones - the sun is shining and it feels great. It's the perfect time to explore the great outdoors or kickback on the beach without a care in the world. Well, just one care maybe - haircare! It's great to get your hair on point every season, here are some natural hair tips for you to try this summer.
Use leave in conditioner before you go swimming
#Naturalhairtips B4 going to the pool/beach, wet your hair & add some leave in conditioner. This adds a barrier between your hair and the salt water/chlorine, thus allowing your hair to retain more moisture and not dry out as much.😘❤ #KioToldYou pic.twitter.com/ruaTxLzbqb

Moisturize those edges
Tip: Moisturize your edges before adding gel or edge control . No I don’t mean just put oil on them or just water. Hit that water, leave-in & oil prior to applying edge control. You can also skip edge control & just tye down. #naturalhair

Take care when dyeing
Don’t dye damaged hair. Vaseline around your edges to protect your skin (especially if you’re using bleach, or any chemical lightener). Don’t dye your hair wet. Sit under a dryer, heat makes the color penetrate deeper. WEAR GLOVES lol i think that’s about it
