Serena Williams is an inspiration. One of the most decorated athletes in history, the tennis champion will forever be a role model and source of inspiration for those who dare to dream.
The younger Williams sister made her triumphant return to the tennis world in March, announcing her comeback in a powerful commercial that aired during the Oscars.
After giving birth to her daughter Alexis Olympia by husband Alexis Ohanian, a Reddit cofounder, Serena Williams was sadly dogged with the same age-old views that Cardi B - and countless women - have been subject to. Some questioned whether Serena could keep her GOAT status while being a wife and mother - despite winning the Australian Open while pregnant in January last year.
A new HBO series is set to explore her journey.
Called Being Serena, the five-part HBO documentary will shine and intimate light on the tennis champion. She will talk about juggling her career and family, and her fears about going back to the court after maternity leave.
In the stirring trailer, Serena says "I was starting a Grand Slam, and I was pregnant. I was like, 'How was I gonna get through this?' "
