Is Rihanna About To Release New Music?

Rihanna has been known more for her cosmetics and fashion lines recently. With no album released since 2016's ANTI, and no released songs since featuring on N.E.R.D's 'Lemon' at the tail-end of last year, we've been wondering when the Caribbean chanteuse would grace us with new music.

Despite an apparent hiatus from her music career, she has still been setting records. Rihanna recently received an award from Billboard for 124 million streams, which she proudly shared on Instagram.

Another Instagram post, one much more cryptic, may hint at what is to come.

didn’t they tell u?

Referencing ANTI song 'Needed Me'', Rihanna posted a photo of two older style televisions, one on top of the other. She also tweeted the same image and caption.

The mysterious picture has Twitter all in a tizzy.

One fan joked about how long Rihanna takes to release an album.

This fan had an interesting theory, linked to Rihanna's upcoming lingerie line.

In fact, a lot of fans had the same thinking. And the verified Instagram account, Savage X Fenty, has been followed by Rihanna. Neither the Instagram or Twitter for Savage X Fenty has posted anything, and some were quick to point out that the top TV screen in Rihanna's Instagram post appeared to depict a woman's chest.

After a bit of a backlash against Fenty Beauty and a demand for new music, will her lingerie line be enough to get her back in some people's good graces?

We'll have to wait and see what Savage X Fenty turns out to be.

What do you think? Are you excited for more Fenty products? Do you wish she would release new music?
