Check Out Solange's Mesmerising Performance Art Piece

Is there anything Solange Knowles can't do? She's known for her unique and genre-defying sound, but besides making music, the soulful songstress finds other ways to flex her creative muscles.

When she's not pushing boundaries with her sound and imagery, or directing music videos like SZA's 'The Weekend', Solange is fond of performance art.

Her latest piece, called 'Metatronia (Metatron's Cube)' was unveiled earlier this month at UCLA's(University of California, Los Angeles) Hammer Museum. The four-minute film was created with artists Gerard & Kelly, and in partnership with Uniqlo. In Solange's words, the film"explores the process, and mapping of creation."

Solange took to Twitter to reveal a snippet of 'Metatronia' to her fans.

Featuring performers clad in black anf white walking amongst the trees and interacting with white structures, this hypnotic video is an interesting study of meditation and how we relate to your surroundings.

Solange continued "The piece is an exercise on following the intuitive force that guides us, helping us to create space, and silence the mind to create the work.

"Continuing my practices and interest in exploring the relationship of movement and architecture as a meditation, Metatronia centers around building frequency and creating charge through visual storytelling."
