Beyoncé is a tireless advocate for the culture. The Grammy Award winning musician cemented her iconic status yet again by pledging $100,000 worth of scholarships for students going to 8 historically black colleges and universities (HBCUs) through her BeyGOOD Initiative.
Google hopped on the project, and promised to match Beyoncé's scholarship funds dollar for dollar. Now, the lucky scholars have been announced, and we're all thrilled!
