Island Pride is well known Caribbean Restaurant in Rockville. The restaurant is very hidden away and the locals prefer it that way so that they can keep all the deliciousness to themselves. The flavours are very impressive and spot on when it comes to authenticity, but they do lack a bit in presenting the dishes. The signature Jamaican Caribbean dish of Island Pride is “oxtail and boy” - is it mouth-watering delicious!

Island spice is an amazing Jamaican restaurant in Maryland that caters for Vegetarians as well (yay veggies!). If you are in a hurry or you need food immediately then this probably isn’t the place for you - you do have to wait a while for your food as they make everything fresh (which is a good thing as well) but it gives you peace of mind that you are not eating yesterday’s stale leftovers.
