This week, I'm embracing Friday with open arms.
It's the end of what's been a topsy-turvy week... the weather has been all over the place, Beyonce and Jay-Z were seen riding a bike through the Kingston District of Jamaica, and the Queen marked the first day of Spring in a bright orange get-up, in 1 degree weather.
Following this influence, and the fact that Spring is (supposedly) well on the way, I decided to bring warmer tones into the equation today. Enter the Chantal African Print Pants, designed with the warmth of the African Sun in mind, and perfect for the beginning of Spring! The sexy fit of these pants, combined with the edgy satin tie top from Missguided and leather tan sandals, creates a beautiful combination of colourful, warm and sophistication that can easily rival the Queen's Spring look!
As you all know by now, if there is one thing I love more than anything in this world, it is African print. My life is literally built around it; it supports me and my family in times of need, and lifts us when we're down. It makes us stand out from the crowd, it makes us push ourselves further than we ever thought possible... and it's so easily styled in such striking ways!
Most African Prints have warm tones - reds, oranges, yellows, pinks, purples and browns are often features throughout so many prints. Of course, you don't have to feature African print with warmer tones (but why wouldn't you?!). I don't know about you, but whilst I love this look (particularly the bag!) it is soooo much more simple without African Print - and what is life without a little excitement?!
So, don't forget to add a touch of Grass-Fields to your look - remember, no matter what the occasion, African print can make you stand out from the crowd! Be proud, be strong, be the best you can be!
Let me know which you prefer in the comments below, you know I love to hear your thoughts. x
