Plus; they look amazing. Today I'm wearing the Lanna Jumpsuit; and it's easily my favourite jumpsuit to date!
Lets be honest, the jumpsuit is one of those items in our wardrobes that is easily overlooked. We may have dozens of dresses and pants in our wardrobes, but we so often ignore the jumpsuit, even though it can look just as elegant - and sometimes even more so.
A jumpsuit is the easiest thing to wear - you don't have to stress about outfit ideas... just pick a bag, some shoes and a coat and you're set for any occasion!
I can't even begin to describe how crazy I am right now for the Lanna Jumpsuit. I love the colour and print more than I can possibly say. One of my favourite things about this jumpsuit though, is that it is red. Red is so often a colour we as women shy away from... it's known for its representations of domination, anger, fire... and its so easy to forget what else it represents - femininity, love, passion, equality, luxury... the list goes on.
I would wear red all day every day, if I could. It's so versatile and fun - I've paired the Lanna Jumpsuit with a dusty blue coat from Miss Selfridge and a pair of Gunmetal heeled sandals from Carvela for an extra edgy-ness. The coat really makes this look a winter warmer - and between us, I actually had a pair of trousers on underneath... thats the beauty of wide leg in Winter!!
For a more evening look, I would pair this jumpsuit with a solid silver metallic belt tightened as much as possible to really accentuate the waist, a pair of black court shoes, and a black blazer with the sleeves rolled up. Alternatively, for a more casual look, you could pop on a pair of converse pumps and a leather jacket (worn off the shoulder, of course...).
What do you think of Red? Do you find it empowering or intimidating? Let me know in the comments below, you know I love to hear your thoughts. x
