You Can Stream Beyonce and The Weeknd's Coachella Sets
It's almost time for the world's most Instagram-able festival, Coachella. Thousands will descend on Indo, California on April 13th to see their faves perform. From Beyoncé, The Weeknd, Migos, and Cardi B, to Wizkid and Black Coffee, the line-up is packed full of some of the most famous names in music, from over the world.
But why go when you can stream?
Let's face it: Coachella is not cheap. The cheapest general admission tickets will set you back half $499, and twice the price for VIP admission. It's not even cheap for the artists performing there!
Cardi B has claimed she's spending $160,000 on her set at the festival to stage an elaborate performance, a move she's saying will cause her to 'lose money'.
For those of us who couldn't score tickets, there's hope. Some of the most popular artists are going to make their sets available to stream.
YouTube will host four channels for the festival. Beyoncé and The Weekend, along with a few other artists including Vince Staples, will broadcast their shows on the video sharing site for the fans at home.
Unfortunately, YouTube won't be streaming live acts during the second weekend of Coachella, but at least we will get the chance to see some of the artists without dropping half a g.
Sounds good to us!
