It's not always easy being a naturalista. Aside from ignorant and uninformed questions, you get bombarded with offensive opinions that no-one asked for, and can struggle to find salons where they know how to treat your hair right.

Everyone needs a little inspiration now and again. Luckily, the natural hair movement is big and constantly growing. Here are some 'grammers that are serious hair goals.


Based between Toronto and Texas, Shanice Crystal, is a YouTuber and Instagrammer focusing on lifestyle and natural curly hair. When she's not posting pointers on her channels, she clearly likes to travel!

This LA-based model has over a million Instagram followers and YouTube subscribers, and it's not hard to see why! Her hairstyles are always on point and her pictures are flawless!

In between shots on the beach and hanging out on boats, Jasmine Brown posts tutorials on her Instagram and YouTube filled with hair styling tips. If you can handle the serious vacation envy, she's worth a follow!


Another Instagrammer and YouTuber, Jaleesa Moses loves to show off different styles to her followers, and let them know how to imitate them. The Jamaica native can be found rocking many different styles, and she slays in all of them.
