Is 'On The Run 2' Happening or Not?

They came, they saw - and they were disappointed. Fans of Beyoncé and Jay-Z were left devastated on Monday after the Carters released tour dates and tickets for sale, before almost immediately retracting them.

Many hoped that the talented two would once again head out on the road together, bringing a much-anticipated sequel to their 2014 'On The Run Tour', which saw them join forces for a show-stopping arena tour across North America and with two dates in Europe.

The pair dropped a gorgeous cinematic-style trailer channeling Bonnie and Clyde for the tour starring a host of famous faces, which you can see below.

On March 5th, Beyoncé and Jay-Z posted details for a concert on July 30th in Philadelphia, only to delete them moments later - but not before people had a chance to get seriously excited.

We mean seriously

Now the internet is rife with speculation. Was the posting and swift deletion of the tour dates done 'accidentally on-purpose' as part of a marketing campaign?

With the energised rumor mill of the internet now in full-swing, it seems that Beyoncé and Jay-Z may have got just what they wanted, and generated a significant amount of hype and buzz for their potential tour.

Well, I guess all we can do is await further news from Bey and Hova, and listen to 'Family Feud' to compensate.

Excited for a possible 'On The Run 2 Tour'? Do you think this was not a mistake but actually a PR stunt?
